HOTELS (ISSN-1047-2975) is a trade publication serving the information needs of the worldwide hospitality industry.

Established in 1966, HOTELS is published monthly. Regular features include design, food & beverage, technology, and a global update section with industry news, executive interviews and marketing stories.

Along with monthly print articles, HOTELS posted new content on its Web site every day. Some of this came in the form of press releases and aggregated industry news, while some was original content such as blog posts or podcasts. Topics included green hotelkeeping, sales and marketing, finance & investment, and coverage of hotel conferences.

As of December 2006, total BPA audited circulation was 62,330 subscribers. The magazine had readers in more than 165 countries around the world.

Former owner Reed Business Information sold off the magazine to its publisher, Dan Hogan, in 2010. Hogan then sold the magazine to Marketing & Technology Group.

What affordable hotels are closest to the Indira Gandhi Airport in New Delhi?
Q. I am flying into New Delhi for one night, and then have to catch a plane elsewhere in India the next morning. What affordable hotels are close to the airport? I don't want to spend a lot of money, but I also don't want to have to drive very far from the airport, since I have to be back bright and early the next morning. The hotel can be close to either the international or domestic terminal, since I'm flying in international but going domestic the next day. Thanks!

A. I remember of staying at a hotel in Mahipalpur area(10-15m drive from both the terminals) last year. I don't remember the name though .It was about Rs. 1500 for an A/C type room just for a night. They would quote some high price if you show up with a lot of luggage.Don't forget to bargain. You can get a prepaid taxi at the airport counter and ask the taxi driver to take some hotel.

Whats a good web site on hotels and clubs for singles in Jamaica?
Q. I'm planning to go there next year but I wish I could find a good web site that tells me about hotels and clubs etc. Not that interested in shopping. I'm going alone and plan to stay a week. A little companion while i'm there will also be nice. But I heard some hotels don't let people that stay, there come in the hotel.

A. If you want to party, I would recommend Hedonism 2 in Negril. You can get more information at their web site or on superclubs. Most resorts I know about are all inclusives and only people staying there are allowed on property.

Which two hotels should I stay at in Las Vegas for my vacation?
Q. I keep hearing about so many great hotels in Las Vegas I think I am going to divide my stay into two hotels rather than stay in one the entire time (planning on 3 nights in one and 3 nights in another). Which two do you think I should stay in? It's my first time going to Vegas.

A. Your idea sounds creative and fun. I suspect you're a person who will have a great time no matter where you end up. Here's my itinerary: (1) Wynn: It's won more five-star and five-diamond awards than any other hotel in America, so start your vacation here and relax for a few days. Bring comfortable shoes... most of the Strip is accessible from Wynn, but the Southernmost casinos like Mandalay Bay, Luxor, NYNY, and MGM Grand, will be too far for most people to walk. (2a) Golden Nugget: The rooms and hotel are just average, but you'll get free admission to their completely awesome shark tank/swimming pool. You'll be downtown, in old Las Vegas, where each casino has at least one really good restaurant. However: Downtown is seedy, and… [cont.]

Moana Shopping Center and to the Hyatt Regency Waikiki We stayed on until the hotel stop which is directly across from Waikiki Beach We had been informed that the street fronting the hotels along the beach has recently been redeveloped but we didn t expect it to be quite as nice as it is It s beautiful Waikiki has never really been what we would consider beautiful
