Which hotel location is more convenient for sight seeing in Amsterdam?
Q. I'm planning to visit Amsterdam, Netherlands next week. I would like to know whether the Marriot Hotel (located between Leidseplein and Vondelpark) or the Renaissance Hotel (located between Central Station and Dam Square) would be more convenient given the winter weather. I will pay up to $250 for a hotel room in a prime location (such as major cities or on the beach). The time of year also effects the cost of a room. A hotel in Washington, D.C. can be $75.00 a night in March but $375 in October or April. I think younger hotel guests are more interested in finding the cheapest price. A. I don't think Ft. Lauderdale really welcomes under-age Spring Break crowd. Most hotels have a minimum age of 18 or 21, but it may be higher during Spring Break time, in order to avoid just the thing you're proposing.
